Small Plates
One line
A cozy word game for one or two: build words one letter at a time, then turn each one into the next course.
Short description
Small Plates is a word game made for waiting on dinner. The kitchen sends out one letter at a time, and you place it on one of four plates. When a plate spells a word, it's served. Keep building on it, TIN to TINE to TILE to TILED, and every new course earns a bigger bonus. Play alone, pass the phone back and forth with a friend, or take on the Daily Special, where everyone gets the same letters each day. Inspired by the classic iPod touch game Moxie.
Potting Bench
One line
A cozy phone game about keeping twenty real houseplant species alive, a minute or two a day.
Short description
Potting Bench teaches you to keep real houseplants alive by looking after virtual ones. Its twenty species, from Golden Pothos to Moth Orchid, behave the way they do in a real home and grow in real time. There's no health bar and no visible moisture meter: you read the leaves, decide whether to water, then check the soil. Plants never die, they just look wretched until you fix the problem, and a field guide explains what went wrong and why.
